From Booking to Gallery delivery
Here is what you can expect from your photo experience from booking to when we delivery your final gallery of images. The weeks prior to and directly following your wedding planning are busy times, to put your mind at ease here’s an outline of what you can expect from me.
The process
→ three Months before the wedding
→ one month before your wedding
→ Two days before your wedding
→ The day of your wedding
→ IMMEDIATELY after your wedding
→ THE week after your wedding
→ Nine weeks after your wedding
We book your engagement session at least three to six months before the wedding (many times 12 months!). Your
engagement session can take place anytime from the time of booking till one month before your wedding. Your photos are delivered to you within 2 weeks via an online gallery where you have access to download all of the high-resolution images.
→ THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING
At our final meeting we will chat about the wedding day and discussing any last minute specifications; you will be asked to answer a wedding day questionaire.
→ ONE MONTH BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
→ TWO DAYS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
I will email you to check-in and confirm all the details from the schedule.
→ THE DAY OF YOUR WEDDING
We arrive at the scheduled time and quickly run through the course of the day. Then we coordinate with your family and friends regarding scheduled start times for formal portraits and what to expect.
→ IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR WEDDING
I upload all of your wedding images to my hard drives and create backups. You will receive a handful of sneak peek photos within four days.
→ THE WEEK AFTER YOUR WEDDING
I start working through your wedding images which will then be edited, retouched, archived and prepared for your online gallery.
→ NINE WEEKS AFTER YOUR WEDDING
I deliver your online wedding gallery with complete download and sharing information.

How many weddings have you photographed?
Yes! We offer 35mm analog film as an add-on.
Do you shoot digital and film?
Absolutely. Several kinds. Most venues will not let wedding professionals walk through the door without it.
Do you have insurance?
Never. The total is the total.
Will there be any extra charges?
Yes, we do! Videography is an add-on service. Pricing starts at $4000.
Do you also offer videography?
Yes, we hold your date with a signature + first payment.

Do you offer payment plans?
Almost two decades (17 years to be exact). Trust me when I say you want someone experienced photographing this once in a lifetime event.
How many years have you photographed weddings?
Once you have your date I would recommend booking. I am normally fully booked for a calendar year the year prior. However, if you have a last minute elopement I can many times fit those in!
How far in advanced should we book you?
A lot. But I would say two of the biggest differences is, one, how long I have been doing this. There are SO many new photographers that entice people to book them because of their low prices, but the quality and their lack of experience can ruin a portrait session or wedding (trust me, I've heard horror stories). These photographers are usually only in business for a few years (I have been around since 2006). Second difference between me and other photographers is the level of care you get when you come to me. Many photographers have a churn and burn model and that is just not how I do things. Many of my clients have been with me for over ten years (which I think says a lot). I value creating lasting relationships with the people I serve. And treating people with kindness is very important to me.
What makes you different from other photographers?

→ Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, the date is officially booked
